Inspiration ~ Fiesta Engagement Party

A dear friend of mine emailed me last week to tell me she’s engaged, such exciting news! She wants to throw a Fiesta Engagement party and was looking for some Modern Hostess inspiration.  Love the theme as a few of us Modern Hostesses have thrown Fiesta’s ourselves, my Fiesta Christmas Party & Arianna’s Grandmothers Birthday Party. I also posted Fiesta 40 a few months back. I guess you could say I’m a little obsessed with Fiestas and with Cinco de Mayo right around the corner I couldn’t think of a better time to post a few of my recent favorites for a Fiesta Party. I’m in love with the teal and green color option for a fiesta.

DIY Pinata Favors @ Ruffled. These are ADORABLE. I might have to whip up a few for Cinco De Mayo myself. Check out her easy DIY tutorial.

Cake:

I know this cake is a little ‘extreme’ for an engagement party but I just HAD to share. Look at the cute little mariachi band!
