Inspiration~ Bird Baby Shower
8 Apr
Spring is in the air and it seems to be baby shower season amongst my friends. A couple of my friends are hosting bird themed baby showers, independent of each other. Here is some bird inspiration for the showers and for spring in general. These ideas can be used for Easter as well.
Decorations
Branches~
These are a nice touch to use for decorating a fitting for a bird themed party.
They are often free as well, I just noticed my neighbor pruned their trees and have piles of branches that would be perfect for this. Photo from Rebecca Thuss.
Cute Kraft paper garland~
I love all garland and this sweet garland is perfect for a spring time bird baby shower.
You can find this garland and many other adorable ones at Red or Gray Art’s Shop.
Bird Cage Centerpieces~
Using bird cages as decor seem obvious for a bird themed shower and they can be done so many ways.
This one is from Hostess with the Mostess blog.
Favors
Pulp party Favors~
These cute bird favors are pulp paper with wildflowers seeds in them. Your guests can plant the bird watch as their garden blooms with wildflowers.
You can find these and other pupl products from Pulp Art.
Tiny Bird Nest Boxes~
How cute are these tiny bird nests?
They can adorn a gift box and add that special touch to the party.
These nests are from Craft Zany.
Dessert
And now time for dessert.
Here are some inspiring desserts for a shower or Easter.
These Martha Stewart bluebird cupcakes have been around for awhile, but they are still very cute.
Bird cake~
this cake comes via Pink Cake box.

Still want more? These Bird Themed parties are fantastic, take a look.

Was wondering where you got the bird cages as I was looking to purchase so we could spray paint to match. Thanks!!!
Those bird cages were listed on Hostess with the Mostess. I found similar ones at Michaels and was able to spray paint those. Good luck with your party planning.
Gorgeous blog and wonderfully creative ideas! I’ve linked the Rebecca Thuss table and your blog on Pinterest (on my Style board at http://pinterest.com/whimsicalvintag – hope you don’t mind, I just had to share it:)
