Modern Parties~ Fire Truck Birthday, part 1
1 Apr

We celebrated my son’s ( Lil’ G) 3rd birthday this past weekend. I hosted at the Paso Robles Children’s Museum and what a great idea that was. It had been raining here for over a week, it was a relief to have a place for the kids to run around and let out some of their pent up energy. For me the best part was that I was in and out within three hours without the party aftermath to clean up at my house. Here is the first part of the Fire Truck Party. More to come…
Location
Paso Robles Children’s Museum. This was a great venue for the kids. I rented the party room they have available and the kids had a blast! The building is in an old volunteer firehouse and so the Fire Truck theme for the party was born.
Invitations
I ordered these fantastic invitations from Inviting Printables. These invitations and matching thank-you cards were sent to me via email in a PDF. I placed a photo order online at Walgreens and they were ready to be picked up within the hour. I love the look and they really set the mood for the Vintage Fire Truck theme I was going for.
Decorations
With the party at the Children’s Museum I was able to keep the decor simple but festive. The table was lined with a fun fire hat fabric from Glitzy Girlz Twinkle.
Birthday Bunting: I had no intention of creating another bunting for this party. At the last minute I caved and whipped out a Fire Truck themed bunting. This bunting has been hanging up at home all week to celebrate Lil’G's birthday week.
Mini Water Bottles: The labels for the water bottles were designed by Paper and Pigtails and I printed them at home. The labels I used for these small bottles were from Creative Label Concepts. They have every label imaginable.
Balloons: I used red and yellow balloons tied to the gift baggies to add flair to the room. They were tied off with bakers twine (a favorite of mine). hint: I used a helium tank you can get at Michael’s, be sure to use a 40% off coupon and it’s a deal!
See you next week with more details from the party.
Smiles, Arianna
